Scenart helps you find an episode based on a scene you describe. This policy explains what data we process and why. The data controller is Lennart Vermeire, reachable via the contact form at the bottom of the page.

What data we process

  • When you sign in (optional, via Google): your name and email address, managed by our authentication provider (Supabase).
  • Search history: for signed-in users we store your searches to run the service and limit abuse.
  • Hashed IP address: for visitors who are not signed in we store only an irreversible hash of your IP address to enforce the free search limit. We never store your raw IP address.
  • Your own API keys: if you save your own API key, it is stored encrypted and used only to run your searches.

Cookies and advertising

Scenart shows ads via Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads and may personalise ads based on previous visits to this and other websites.

You can manage or disable personalised ads via Google Ad Settings. Read more about how Google uses data from advertising partners at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Retention

We do not keep data longer than necessary for the purposes described above. You can have your account and associated data deleted via the contact address below.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, and you can object to certain processing (GDPR). Send your request via the contact form at the bottom of the page.

Scenart is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the creators, broadcasters or rights holders of the searchable series. All series titles, characters and images remain the property of their respective rights holders.
